# Commands Reference

> Complete list of all PerpCord commands

## Player Commands

All player commands use the `/perp` prefix. These are the commands you'll use most often.

### Core Commands

    **Join PerpCord and get your starting balance**

    Use this command to register for the game. You'll receive 10,000 coins to start trading.

    If you've already joined, this command shows your current stats instead.

    **Check the current trading round**

    Shows information about the active round including:

    * Token being traded
    * Current price and price change
    * Time remaining
    * Whether trading is open or closed
    * Number of players in the round

    **Place a paper trade in the current round**

    Place your bet on the token's price movement in the current \~10 minute trading round.

    **Parameters:**

    * `direction` - LONG (price up) or SHORT (price down)
    * `leverage` - 🐢 3× (chill), 🚀 10× (normal), ⚔️ 100× (risky), or 💣 250× (YOLO)
    * `size` - Amount of coins to risk

    **Check your or another player's stats**

    View detailed statistics including balance, win rate, streaks, and badges.

    **Parameters:**

    * `user` (optional) - The player to view. Defaults to yourself.

    **View the PerpCord leaderboard**

    See the top traders ranked by balance. Use pagination to see more players.

    **Parameters:**

    * `page` (optional) - Page number, defaults to 1

### Daily Features

    **Spin the daily wheel for coins and profit boosts**

    Get one free spin per day with chances to win:

    * Bonus coins (50 to 5,000)
    * Charge-based profit boosts (+10% for 3 or 10 winning trades)
    * Mega boosts (+25% on your next winning trade)

    You can also buy up to 3 additional spins per day (costs 150, 400, 900 coins).

    **View your daily quests**

    See your three daily quests and their progress. Quests reset at midnight UTC.

    Quest difficulties:

    * **Easy** - 200 coin reward
    * **Medium** - 500 coin reward
    * **Hard** - 1,000 coin reward

### Chart Commands

    **View the current token's price chart**

    Displays an interactive price chart for the token in the current trading round. You can switch between different timeframes using the dropdown menu.

    **Parameters:**

    * `timeframe` (optional) - Chart timeframe: 15m, 1h, 1d, or 7d. Defaults to your saved preference or 1d.

    **Available Timeframes:**

    * **15m** - Last 15 minutes of price data
    * **1h** - Last hour of price data
    * **1d** - Last 24 hours of price data
    * **7d** - Last 7 days of price data

    ```

    <Tip>Use the "Set as Default" button to save your preferred timeframe for future chart views.</Tip>

    **Set your default chart timeframe**

    Save your preferred timeframe so future `/perp chart` commands use it automatically.

    **Parameters:**

    * `timeframe` - The timeframe to use as your default: 15m, 1h, 1d, or 7d

    **Reset your chart timeframe to server default**

    Clears your custom chart preference and reverts to the server's default timeframe.

    ```

### Information Commands

  <Accordion title="/perp tokens" icon="coins">
    **View all available trading tokens**

    Shows the complete list of tokens that can appear in trading rounds. Each token displays:

    * Symbol and link to OpenSea
    * Chain (ETH, BAS, etc.)
    * 24-hour trading volume
    * Volatility Index (VI) score

    Tokens are curated based on trading volume and market activity. Each round features a randomly selected token from this pool.

    ```

    <Tip>The Volatility Index (VI) measures price movement on a 1-100 scale. Higher VI means bigger swings and higher risk/reward potential.</Tip>

    **View all available badges and how to earn them**

    Shows the complete list of badges organized by category:

    * Dynamic badges (Wealth, Streak, Performance)
    * Season achievements (reset monthly)
    * Leaderboard Leader (current #1)

## Command Visibility

Commands have different visibility settings:

| Command               | Visibility                                   |
| --------------------- | -------------------------------------------- |
| `/perp trade`         | Public - everyone sees your trade            |
| `/perp status`        | Public                                       |
| `/perp leaderboard`   | Public                                       |
| `/perp join`          | Public (if fewer than 50 players) or private |
| `/perp profile`       | Private (ephemeral)                          |
| `/perp quests`        | Private (ephemeral)                          |
| `/perp wheel`         | Private (ephemeral)                          |
| `/perp chart`         | Private (ephemeral)                          |
| `/perp chart-default` | Private (ephemeral)                          |
| `/perp chart-reset`   | Private (ephemeral)                          |
| `/perp tokens`        | Private (ephemeral)                          |

  Private (ephemeral) messages are only visible to you. Public messages can be seen by everyone in the channel.

## Admin Commands

Server admins have access to additional commands under `/admin`. These are restricted to users with Administrator permissions. Below are the most relevant ones for community managers.

    **Post the player help guide to a channel**

    Drops the full PerpCord onboarding/help message into the chosen channel so new players can find it.

    **Set the game announcements channel**

    Picks the channel where round start / settlement messages get posted.

    **Set the events channel**

    The channel where big wins, liquidations, YOLO alerts, Pepe spawns, and magic potion drops appear.

    The channel where the daily recap is posted each morning.

    **Show the most recent season's final top 10**

    Useful to look up who won the last monthly season.

    **Force a season reset NOW**

    Wipes balances, badges, and roles immediately. Snapshots the current top 10 first. You must pass `confirm:YES` literally.

    <Warning>This is destructive. Players will need to `/perp join` again to be active.</Warning>

  The bot exposes many more admin commands for token curation, round management, role setup, and stat channels. Run `/admin` in Discord to see the full list. The bot is locked to a single Discord server and will auto-leave any other guild it's added to.
