What Are Duels?
Duels are head-to-head trading competitions between two players. You both trade in the same rounds, and whoever performs better wins each round. It’s a best-of-3 format - first to win 2 rounds takes the duel!
Duels come in two flavors:
- Friendly Duels - No coins at stake, just bragging rights
- Wager Duels - Put coins on the line for higher stakes
How Duels Work
Starting a Duel
Challenge another player with:
/perp duel challenge opponent:@username
For a wager duel, add a stake:
/perp duel challenge opponent:@username stake:100
The challenged player has 2 minutes to accept or decline.
Duel Rules
- Best of 3 rounds - First to win 2 rounds wins the duel
- Same rounds - Both players trade in the same game rounds
- Higher return wins - The player with better PnL percentage wins each round
- No trade = forfeit - If you don’t trade in a round, you forfeit that round
- Fixed trade size - Both players use the same trade size (calculated from balances)
During a Duel
When you’re in an active duel:
- Your trades are confidential until the round settles
- You must use the required trade size shown in
/perp duel status
- Check your progress anytime with
/perp duel status
Duel trades don’t affect your regular trading stats or quests - they’re tracked separately!
Wager Duels
Wager duels add real stakes to the competition!
Requirements
To participate in wager duels, you need:
- Minimum 2,000 coin balance
- 3+ days on the server

Tips for Dueling
Know your opponent - Check their profile to see their win rate and trading style before challenging.
Don’t skip rounds - Missing a trade means forfeiting that round. Always place a trade, even if you’re unsure.
Start with friendly duels - Practice without stakes until you’re confident in your skills.
Leaving the server during an active duel counts as a forfeit - your opponent wins automatically!
Do Not Disturb Mode
Don’t want to be challenged? Toggle DND mode:
When DND is enabled:
- Other players cannot challenge you to duels
- You can still challenge others
- Toggle it off anytime to accept challenges again
